Make a difference in a child’s life by devoting just a couple hours a week to tutor and help with homework. Be a drop-in homework helper or a dedicated personal tutor for children in our Community Outreach Centers. The Weekley Y has three Community Outreach Centers for kids to have a safe, positive environment to learn and play in after school. We offer this and many other programs to serve at-risk youth and families. Research shows that a child who is behind in reading by grade 3 is four times less likely to graduate high school. You can be a part of changing that statistic and giving a child what they need to succeed. Tutor dates and times are Monday-Thursday 4:30-6:30pm
