Becoming a volunteer ombudsman will enrich your life as you visit with a senior who lives in a care facility. Not only will you be a friendly visitor but you will be someone who ensures the rights of the resident are being upheld. Many residents do not have anyone who can advocate for them and they need you. If you are willing to listen and observe and promote the welfare of senior citizens, this volunteer position should be at the top of your list!
