We need a volunteer to keep our event calendar updated on an ongoing basis. You'll use our website's existing content management system to create and update events in our online events calendar, and make other minor updates to pages throughout the site as needed. Knowledge of Wordpress (our website platform) and basic HTML is helpful, but not required. This position will typically require about 5 hours per week. The timing is very flexible, and the work can be done remotely. This is an ongoing position; preference will be given to volunteers who can commit to at least 6 months.

Description
The Center for the Arts at the Armory is an award-winning organization whick transformed an historic armory into a community arts center. Recognizing that arts can bridge cultural, class and generational devides in our society, Arts at the Armory showcases visual and literary arts and features dance, theater and musical performances. We also offer art education classes. Through executing our mission and vision, Arts at the Armory creates life-long opportunities for children, youth and adults to learn and celebrate the meaning of art in their lives.
