Travelers Aid JFK Airport
- Travelers Aid at JFK International Airport welcomes and assists passengers from all around the world giving information regarding a variety of travel-related services. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your communication skills and gain experience assisting and working with people. Volunteers are placed at key locations throughout the airport. Shifts are available 7 days a week from 10-2 or 2-6. We require one four hour shift per week. In addition to the satisfaction of helping travelers, volunteers also receive transportation (local subway and bus fare or parking). - Travelers Aid adheres to all CDC guidelines regarding proper way to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. All employees and passengers, including Travelers Aid staff and volunteers must follow the mandate to wear a mask when in the airport.

Description
Travelers Aid is a volunteer based program that seeks to assist airport passengers and provide knowledge and experience to enhance their traveling experience. Volunteers provide information and assistance with airport related questions, transportation options, attractions in the NYC Metropolitan and many more questions. The program is also able to make referrals to outside agencies and connect people with support systems.
