We are looking for a few handy volunteers to help with our big beautiful building! The Fremont Abbey is a beautiful old brick church building (originally St Paul’s Lutheran) that went from being vacant in the late 90s, to being a temporary shelter, and then undergoing major renovations in late 2007.
We'd love to have you be a part of our Care and Maintenance Team! Helping with anything from painting, varnishing, projects, repurposing, and general maintenance to keep us running smooth for years to come!
Please visit our website to see more of who we are and what you would be supporting!

Built in 1914 the Fremont Abbey is a beautiful old brick church building (originally St Paul’s Lutheran) that went from being vacant in the late 90s, to being a temporary shelter, and then undergoing major renovations in late 2007. Major work culminated March 2008 with a Grand Re-opening party and ongoing improvements do continue each year. Abbey Arts Director, Nathan Marion ( www.LonelyBuildings.com), managed the renovation & "greening of the Abbey" project including final designs & interiors.
