Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Insight (PA MEDI) volunteers are needed in Fayette, Greene and Washington Counties. Volunteers receive ongoing training and updates on Medicare and Medicare-related issues so that they will be able to help Medicare beneficiaries compare health insurances, provide office support, assist with Medicare appeals, present community educational programs, such as "New to Medicare" for the soon-to-retire senior, and "Medicare's Preventive Services" to encourage individuals to take advantage of Medicare-covered tests and services.
