Road to Recovery Donate Your Passenger Seat

Sometimes the cure to cancer can be as close as 12 miles away. We need YOU to volunteer to drive patients to their treatments, call us today at 1.800.227.2345or 407.843.8680. The American Cancer Society needs volunteer drivers to ensure that cancer patients get to and from their lifesaving treatments. Too often patients delay their cancer treatments because of lack of transportation. All it takes to become an American Cancer Society Road to Recovery volunteer is a safe driving record, a valid driver's license, some free time, a vehicle in good working condition, and the desire to make a difference. This volunteer opportunity is designed to be an easy and stress-free service for both cancer patients and volunteers. We’re flexible! Let us know when you can help and we’ll match a volunteer opportunity to fit your schedule. Training sessions, maps, and directions are provided. Cancer treatment appointments take place on weekdays, primarily during business hours. Road to Recovery is the very essence of the American Cancer Society mission - people helping people overcome cancer. Won't you help a patient get on the road to recovery? If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer driver, please contact the American Cancer Society at 1.800.227.2345.
