Mission Statement

Smart Start is a pilot program starting in the 8th grade to guide and support disadvantaged children in preparing, applying, and being admitted to college.

Description

Smart Start identifies children with academic potential to be in this pilot college-bound support program. The objective is to mentor and motivate these students from eighth grade through twelfth grade, from applications through college admissions.

Looking for people who have experience and expertise in giving SAT prep courses, guiding students in filling out college applications and applying for financial aid, grants, and scholarships including FAFSA forms.
