Pacific Center for Human Growth is a non-profit LGBTQ counseling and resource center and we’re in need of volunteers to staff our welcome desk. Your duties are simple and you'll meet the world’s best people. You will answer the phone and direct calls, welcome clients and friends, sort mail if necessary. You may take up at least one 3-hour shift per week. Each shift has slightly different responsibilities, but during all shifts you will be responsible for meeting, aiding, and informing our clients and any visitors that come to us for various services, whether we offer them or can provide a referral, and support center's programs.
If you are looking to serve hours for community service or a school program, please let us know in advance. Come visit us on Center street in Berkeley or visit our website at pacificcenter.orgfor further information. Our volunteer application is accessible through the 'Get Involved' section of our website. Please fill this in and we can arrange a training for you that best suits your schedule.
