Greet residents during the day and early evening at Pear Blossom Place, the largest homeless family shelter in Thurston County. FSCSS staff provide a shelter orientation. We schedule at least 2 greeters for each shift.
Hours
5:00pm -- 7:30pm
Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 18 (or attended by adult).
- Must attend shelter orientation.
- Must pass criminal background check.

Description
Not every family has a home, but every family deserves one. Family Support Center is a lead agency fighting to prevent family homelessness in Thurston County. We work around the clock to ensure no family is left out in the cold--providing emergency shelter, housing assistance, case management, life skills, advocacy, resources, outdoor living supplies, community voice mail, computer and phone access, warm clothes, food, hygiene supplies, transportation, employment assistance, domestic violence advocacy, benefits eligibility information and more.
