"We Honor Veterans!" (WHV is sponsored by the VA & National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization) Envoy Hospice is expanding our current, very successful Veteran Volunteer Program! We need Veteran Volunteers to spend time with our end of life Veteran patients: visiting, listening, holding hands, pushing in their wheelchairs, looking at photos, providing support to Veteran patients & their Families, talking to & "thanking them for their Military Service", delivering Flags, special cards, lapel pins, Letters written by High School students thanking our BELOVED Veteran Patients for their Service to our Country, etc. Many of these Veterans served in WWII & Korea. We have found by experience that our Veteran Patients respond OVERWHELMINGLY to Veteran Volunteers visiting them! There is such a special bond between them, unmatched by any other! We need YOU!!
We need help in the following Cities:
Fort Worth
Carrollton
Frisco
Plano
Denton
Dallas
Burleson
HEB (Hurst, Euless, Bedford)
