FREE HHH SUMMER CAMP 2018 in Collinsville IL:
HHH Summer Camp: Free Food followed by activities which includes reading improvement. Eight weeks of M & W OR Tu & TH reading instruction. We have a tutor to sit alongside each struggling reader to assure their success. Your job is to encourage and keep the learner on task as they are taught by an excellent computerized reading system.
READING SUCCESS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Those who read by 4th grade are much more likely graduate high school, continue their education, improve their social standing and have more career options. You will be celebrating each success together.
Lunch is served between noon and12:30. There are two 45 minute sessions and camp ends at 2 pm. We provide free tutor training so you know how the software works and how to assist the learners. Call Dr. Young with your questions/to make appointment 618-407-8055 dyoung.rsc@gmail.com
P.S. We also need Classroom Managers to share the leadership by weekday.
SCHOOL YEAR 2017-18: We need tutors at several St Louis RSC reading locations and individuals who will tutor all ages of learners needing reading assistance at the local public library in Collinsville IL.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Reading Success Center is to make reading improvement services available to nonprofit groups that already have clients/members to be served.
Description
We assist other nonprofits in building self-sustaining reading improvement programs. While that takes place, we are also providing tutorial services. Once the new program has adequate volunteers and is self-sustaining, we will help another nonprofit in the same way.
The Boys & Girls Club West in St. Peters MO has provided an excellent room for these services. After-school tutoring began November 07, 6 weeks of Summer Reading Camps were held in 08 and after-school tutoring continues. We will need volunteer tutors for 7 weeks this summer as we serve children K-6 and older counselors A FREE 12 NOON LUNCH FOLLOWED BY READING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES UNTIL 2 PM. We are very short on volunteers to enable this project. Please give your time to prevent summer slide and build new READING SKILLS.
