Activity Volunteers help staff during activity programs such as athletics, art, and tech. These programs run the gambit and volunteers can specify the types of programs in which they would like to participate. The support activity volunteers provide to staff and the relationships they form with youth are invaluable.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland is part of a nationwide affiliation which strives to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. The Clubs offer daily access to a broad range of programs in five core program areas: Character & Leadership Development; Education & Career Development; Health & Life Skills; the Arts; and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
