Are you a community member or business leader who is looking to give back to the community in a measurable way? If so, then this may be the volunteer opportunity for you! UCP is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and four committees that provide oversight over key aspects of our organization. The Programs & Services Committee is actively recruiting additional members who are willing to put their time, talents, and abilities to work for a great cause. We are looking for four to six additional committee members to assist with the following: Identify changing service needs in the community and plan for modification of existing services Assess and evaluate programs/services, including quality issues and standards for outcomes Evaluate family/staff communication and relationships Review program/service progress on strategic plan issues Review all new program/service grant proposals Review and analyze relevant legislation/regulations affecting programs/services The Programs & Services Committee meets monthly in Camp Hill, usually on the second Thursday of the month, from Noon to 1:00. If you are interested in joining the Programs & Services Committee, or would like further information, please contact Julie Beroukas Snyder, Director of Development at julie.snyder@ucpcentralpa.org or 717-975-0611 x126
