The Tech Interactive in Downtown San Jose Needs Volunteers Like You!
Do you have a desire to learn and teach others about science, technology, engineering, art or math? If so, then The Tech might be the perfect place for you to volunteer! The Tech Interactive is home to one-of-a-kind learning experiences, and our volunteers help people of all ages discover their inner innovator and problem solver.
Currently we're recruiting Special Events Volunteers!
These friendly and outgoing volunteers assist us with various special events within the Interactive. Volunteers select event shifts based on their availability, and all we ask is two evening events per month. These volunteers help us in the evenings, weekends, and occasionally some mornings or afternoons dependant on event needs. We are particularly looking for volunteers to help us during the busy holiday season. Typical duties include: facilitating exhibits, or floor program activities such as interactive creative projects.

Description
The Tech Interactive is a world class science and technology center in the heart of the Silicon Valley that welcomes over 250,000 visitors a year. Visitors are encouraged to explore the 130,000 square feet of hands-on activities, exploratory labs and design challenge experiences as well as interactive exhibits on climate change, robotics, innovations in healthcare, cybersecurity and more. The center is also home to the largest IMAX Dome Theater on the West Coast, offering educational films and the occasional Hollywood blockbuster.
