ORGANIZATION: Trinity Human Services Corporation

THSC operates a thrift shop that makes available low-cost, gently-used clothing, furniture and household items. In addition to providing an affordable shopping venue for our clients and neighbors, the sales from the thrift shop help support the other services provided by THSC. We need caring, dedicated volunteers to:

  • Sort and tag donations.
  • Greet and thank customers.
  • Light cleaning (dusting, sweeping, breaking down boxes, throwing trash away, etc.).
  • Work with thrift store staff to keep the store professional and comfortable.

Description

THSC provides a range of social services, including but not limited to emergency food and clothing assistance, advocacy for entitlements and immigration, and referrals for employment and job training/placement, child protective services, medical and mental healthcare, housing and emergency shelters, legal services, foster care, literacy, alcohol and drug abuse, and domestic violence.
