ORGANIZATION: Trinity Human Services Corporation

Our food pantry receives about 4,000 clients in need of food every month. We need caring, dedicated volunteers to:

- Welcome clients and donors upon arrival.

- Assist in carrying donations into building.

- Organize and sort donations; keep donation areas clean and clear.

- Prepare food bags for distribution to clients.

- Monitor public areas for cleanliness and order; assist where necessary.

- Help clients carry items out of building when unable to do so themselves.

A great opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on many people's lives!

2 Shifts

  • morning / 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM
    We wish to have volunteers to help at our food pantry Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the afternoon as times mentioned above. Thank you!

Description

THSC provides a range of social services, including but not limited to emergency food and clothing assistance, advocacy for entitlements and immigration, and referrals for employment and job training/placement, child protective services, medical and mental healthcare, housing and emergency shelters, legal services, foster care, literacy, alcohol and drug abuse, and domestic violence.

  • We need volunteers that can help to distribute food, sort and make food packages, and clean the food pantry and can spend two to three hours.
  • Due to Covid-19, volunteers need to be vaccinated and wear masks all the times.
