We go to the National Guard Armory while it is open as the emergency shelter in the winter months. This houses adults with children and families. We can serve up to 200 people in one night.

We go out to 2 locations in Santa Ana twice a month and hand out clean, decent clothing. Most of the people we see are street people and are men. We do this in a very organized way with everyone in a line and volunteers to help them find the clothes and items they are in need of. One location is Civic Center area and we do about 100 people. The other area is Mental Health Drop in Center and that is much smaller like 30 people. That is the best way to get trained. There are certain procedures we use and everyone must do it alike.

We would love to have you join us if you are open to faith based groups. We do pray with homeless that request it and use literature. You do not have to be a Christian to join but must be comfortable with our faith.

We are looking for people who can commit to at least coming out once a month for 6 months. Without this commitment there is too much time wasted training someone for only one or two times out.
