Planting Trees at Estrella Mountain Regional Park

Join in the planting fun on December 14th at Estrella Mountain Regional Park to plant 25 native Sonoran Desert trees. The trees will help to preserve the area and provide more shade and shelter to park visitors and wildlife.
We will begin planting at 8:00am and work until 12:00pm. Please bring work gloves and a bottle for water. Be prepared to work outdoors with closed toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, and appropriate clothing.
This project is appropriate for ages 8-17 with an adult, and 18 .

At approximately 120,000 acres, Maricopa County is home to one of the largest regional park system in the United States. All trails within the Maricopa County Park System are for non-motorized use only. Ten parks in the system circle the metropolitan area and all are within a 45-minute drive from downtown Phoenix.
