HOV began in 1987, has two part-time staff, approx. 800 senior clients and a little over 200 volunteers. During the pandemic, we continued to provide our outdoor services, as we ramped up our Friendly Caller program to all seniors who called in, our Vaccine Angels scheduled vaccination and transportation appointments, to and from vaccination sites, and ordered COVID test kits, high school students wrote pen pal letters, and our volunteers made sure our clients had very happy holidays.

HOV began In-Home services in May, 2022 and Medical Transportation in March, 2023 and is fully open, providing services to our growing list of seniors.
