ORGANIZATION: Hostelling International Houston

Share your knowledge and excitement for travel with a new generation that is waiiting to explore the world! We're looking for volunteers to lead our youth travel class program with Girl Scouts. Volunteers will help prepare youth ages 12-17 to become responsible world travelers. Hang out and chat about trip planning, understanding cultural differnces, safety, and share some of your personal stories. Classes are 2-3 hours in length and occur on various Saturday afternoons throughout the school year.

Hostelling International Houston is a nonprofit hostel located in Montrose. We are founded on an enduring belief in the power of travel to foster a deeper understanding of people, places and cultures for a more tolerant world.

Hostelling International Houston is a non-profit hostel located in Montrose. We host people from all countries and walks of life as they visit our beautiful city. Through community dinners, tours of the city, and other events we strive to ensure our guests enjoy their trip, learn from one another, and leave with a positive impression of Houston.

In addition, to help further our mission we offer a variety of programs including free travel classes that include: World Travel 101, Women Traveling Solo, Europe on a Budget, Gay Travel, Family Budget Travel, and more!
