Volunteer opportunities include: help with fund raising, pick up donated items, yard work, house maintenance, computer or office help. Pam's Promise is the only place for families to go when homeless and not suffering from domestic abuse. We currently have 7 adults and 4 children housed with others on a waiting list. Our local Housing Develepment is so overwhelmed with applicants for government housing they have stopped accepting applications. The need is here. We provide this housing by generous corporate and individual donations. Our entire board and agency is run by volunteers like yourself who truely care for people.

Pam's Promise is dedicated to assisting families, and other individuals in securing and maintaining housing while also assisting in developing good likfe skills to ensure future stabiliazation of thier self-suffieciency.
Description
We provide housing for the homeless. We are purchasing a large duplex which will house 6 families or female individuals. We are currently providing housing, utilities, household cleaning products, toliet paper, etc. We work on budgeting and environmental cleaniless. We help them with seeking and maintaining employment until the ability to be self-sufficient. They can stay for up to a year with a 6 month extention with a board approval.
