Volunteers 15 and under may volunteer after an interview with their parents and a completed parental permission slip form.

Description
With origins as a neighborhood senior center, WCSC remains steadfastly committed to older adults and healthy aging, serving north & northeast Seattle. With changing demographics and attitudes about aging, we are broadening our reach to create a vibrant place for growing up and growing older. We help people connect, engage, and expand their horizons - with an emphasis on a supportive environment for moving through life’s transitions. We are an inclusive organization that is equally welcoming - whether a person is vulnerable or isolated, has special needs, or is active & well.
We engage the full-spectrum of our senior population and appeal to our community-at-large. Our intentionally planned programs are delivered in a community context that fosters social connections. Our portfolio includes tracks that promote:

- Social &Transition Support
- Lifelong Learning
Volunteers play a key role in a 2-way proposition - enhancing WCSC's capacity and program strength, while also gaining enriching experiences.
