Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic and professional situations. BE THE CHANGE that you want to see in this world. Mentor a young person today!
Our community-based mentoring program needs YOU! We will match you one-to-one with a Douglas County youth, aged 4-17. At no cost to the mentor or mentee, we provide the background check, training, support, and opportunities for fun group activities. A mentor will agree to a one year commitment to spend at least four hours each month with their mentee and to turn in a "mentor log" each month. If you are between 18 and 118, you can share your wisdom, hobbies and talents while building up and exploring the interests of a local young person!!!
Applications can be found on our website, www.tahoeyouth.org, or can be picked up at our Gardnerville office. For more information, please refer to our website - or contact Dorrie at 775-782-4202 ext 104 or by email at email@example.com.
