BE THE DIFFERENCE in the life of an adult or child. Volunteer tutors work one-on-one for just a few hours a week, helping learners attain their personal educational goals. Tutors work with learners in a relaxed and supportive environment, providing a source of inspiration and hope, and instill a lifelong love of learning. Tutoring sessions are individualized, and designed to meet the needs of learners to improve their skills, learn and achieve their goals.

Adult Tutors: Project READ offers tutor training for new community volunteers six times a year.

Teen Tutors: Project READ offers teen tutor trainings on a monthly basis. Teach someone to read; you’ll be amazed by what you learn. If you are interested in tutoring or volunteering with Project READ, please contact us or stop by. (650) 780-7077
