Do you have a basket full of unused yarn? Sonata Hospice is looking for kind hearted people to create and donate handmade shawls, hats and scarfs.

We are caring for people who are on the final journey. We bring comfort to them in as many forms as possible.
Please consider learning more about Hospice and become a volunteer. We will provide you with all the information and training you will need.
Volunteers are part of the comfort care that hospice provides.
Volunteer schedules are flexible and can consist of companionship, reading, yard work, walking the dog, 11th hour, office work and more.
Join us as we make the journey more comfortable and less scary for everyone!

Description
Sonata Hospice Volunteers are trained to meet the needs of families and patients by providing companionship and short-term respite care. These volunteers are hand-selected and trained. Following reference and background checks, these individuals complete extensive training prior to working with patients. Volunteers make things easier by offering caregiver relief’, companionship, sharing of special interests, letter writing, reading to the patient or help with errands. We are always looking for quality volunteers. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help bring comfort to those in need.
