ORGANIZATION: Crossroads for Women

Crossroads for Women is seeking childcare volunteers to provide childcare for CRFW's daily groups. Childcare is needed on the following days and times:

Monday: 4:15PM-5:30PM

Tuesday: 11:15AM-12:30PM

Tuesday: 5:45-7:00PM

Wednesday: 4:15PM-5:30PM

Thursday: 11:15AM-12:30PM

Childcare volunteers engage 1-10 children in games and activities while their mothers attend group at CRFW. Volunteer should have prior child care experience and be willing to submit a background check. Please contact Amanda at 505-242-1010 ext. 13.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive, integrated services to support women working to break the cycle of homelessness and incarceration and achieve healthy, stable, and self sufficient lives in the community for themselves and their children.

Description

Crossroads for Women assists women (and their children) who are struggling with homelessness, substance addiction, and mental illness. We provide case management, vocational assistance, family and parenting services, therapeutic, social, and creative groups, individual counseling, and housing assistance. Crossroads for Women is located in downtown Albuquerque.
