MBIC New Brand

The Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse (MBIC) offers a supportive community program based on the Clubhouse model that "work is healing." This unique program provides opportunities to develop and improve skills, build relationships, and regain self-confidence.

At MBIC, members and staff work side by side to complete the daily work of the Clubhouse, providing real life opportunities to improve and advance skills, become more productive, and make a difference.

Our members use our business unit to re-learn how to type, research the internet, upload our daily newsletter, put together power point presentations, turn on and off a computer/printer, learn to use a photocopy printer to send faxes, make copies etc.

At the moment, we are down a medium Brother MFC 9130CW printer.

Please consider donating your technical skills and time to our organization and make a HUGE difference in our member's daily work.

Our hours of operations are M-F only (No weekends) from 8AM-4PM. We are extremely flexible and work around YOUR schedule.

Without our valued volunteers MBIC would not be able to thrive, thanks for your support!

Thank you!

Please email tammiko@mbiclubhouse.org if you are interested.

About Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse

Location:

1021 W. Adams, Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60607, US

Mission Statement

Mission Statement: To provide life long rehabilitative services and support to those affected by brain injury or stroke.

Description

The Clubhouse is a unique place where individuals can come to relearn skills through the work of the day. We like to think of the Clubhouse as our home away from home and the folks here are like family. For many the Clubhouse is the next step in transitioning from a patient back into the real world.
