Social Media Designer

To Designers design and develop exciting social media pages and applications for Hands 2 Help. To design customized and interactive sections and applications while ensuring that all content is search engine optimization compliant.

Requirements
Education/Certifications/Experience/knowledge in Web design and Social Media

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, ability to hand-code
  • Working knowledge of Javascript/JS Libraries
  • Experience with WordPress, PHP, Flash, or ActionScript desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of what appeals to different target audiences
  • High level of imagination and creativity
  • Strong communication skills

Essential Functions, Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Prepares rough design concepts
  • Uses different icons, colors, approaches, styles and sizes in designs to attract the attention of the audience
  • Uses industry standard graphics
  • Creates a specific "look and feel" for a page or application
  • Designs hypertext links and animated menus
  • Writes codes and tests functionality of the end product
