Social Media Designer
To Designers design and develop exciting social media pages and applications for Hands 2 Help. To design customized and interactive sections and applications while ensuring that all content is search engine optimization compliant.
Requirements
Education/Certifications/Experience/knowledge in Web design and Social Media
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, ability to hand-code
- Working knowledge of Javascript/JS Libraries
- Experience with WordPress, PHP, Flash, or ActionScript desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of what appeals to different target audiences
- High level of imagination and creativity
Strong communication skills
Essential Functions, Duties, & Responsibilities
- Prepares rough design concepts
- Uses different icons, colors, approaches, styles and sizes in designs to attract the attention of the audience
- Uses industry standard graphics
- Creates a specific "look and feel" for a page or application
- Designs hypertext links and animated menus
- Writes codes and tests functionality of the end product
