The traditional in-classroom JA volunteer experience takes place in a
child’s classroom, during which volunteers present one of JA’s proven
financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to a
K-12 classroom on a weekly basis, coordinating the schedule with a
teacher. Volunteers and teachers work together to mutually arrange the
required number of sessions and session lengths, taking into account
classroom schedule and volunteer’s work schedule.
