4 people are interested
In the time it takes you to read this description, 2 people will have been sexually assaulted and 4 women will have been beaten by their partners.
How can you make a difference?
We are looking for volunteers to respond to any ER hospital call of someone that comes to Allendale County Hospital for domestic violence or sexual assault. Whether you have an hour once a month or eight hours a week, the Cumbee Center could use and would appreciate your time and talents.
This initial contact is a very important first step to introducing what services we offer for the potential client. These victims are very scared and emotional when they first arrive to the hospital, our volunteers help to keep them calm and let the victims know the next steps to recovering from such a tragic incident.
During the volunteer training process you will receive some of the best volunteer training around and will be ready to assist in helping victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
