Are you interested in working with refugees? Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life? Do you enjoy learning about other cultures? Then come volunteer with us at the Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE)!
How can you get involved? We have numerous volunteer opportunities for you to choose from! We offer ESL classes, youth programs, cooking classes, fitness classes, health screenings, citizenship classes, legal training, driver's permit classes, financial literacy classes, computer classes, pre-GED classes, social learning programs and more!

Description
The Nashville International Center for Empowerment, formerly the Sudanese Community and Women's Services Center, offers refugees and immigrants who have resettled in Middle Tenessee direct social services designed to ease their transition into their new lives in America. NICE offers classes in English, citizenship, GED, computer, and job training, as well as youth and immigration services. These programs are designed to empower these new Americans to provide for themselves and their families and to become productive members of American society.
