Make a difference for a special needs student learning to ride. Side walkers are needed to walk alongside the student, keeping them safe. We train. Horse handlers are needed and must have equine experience. Training is ongoing. Must be at least 14. Send application, available at www.trotarizona.org or call for details. One hour a week time commitment.

Description
TROT is a non-profit organization that uses horsemanship as a form of therapy for children and adults with special needs. Participants partake in an individualized therapeutic program designed to promote improvement in muscle strength and neuromuscular coordination as well as to enhance their confidence and self esteem.
The special bond between horse and human provides the incentive for achievements never thought possible.
This is achieved through a comprehensive program provided by a professional staff, trained volunteers, and carefully selected horses.
