Lend your talents to a comprehensive birth-to-five Early Childhood program that provides case-management and school readiness for families and their children to foster family sufficency and family stability while simultanously enhancing their cognitive, social, physical and emotional development. Volunteers assist staff to achieve these goals by:
- Reading books to small groups of children
- Have "private time" with individual children. Devote all your attention to one child for 10-15 minutes. ex. read a story or work a puzzle
- Supervise children at outside play
- Sit and eat with children and assist them as needed
Ask the teaching staff for instructions on other activities.
