Last year, over 8,000 individuals in Alameda County received hot Thanksgiving and Christmas meals from The Salvation Army. Our holiday programs made lives merrier for thousands of needy families by distributing over 6,200 toys, gift cards and 1,600 food boxes.
As we prepare for the holidays, we turn to you, our faithful and generous community, asking for your help in meeting the needs of our neighbors.

Bell Ringing is the foundation that fuels all of the programs we offer. Funds raised through the Bell Ringing campaign provide nights in our shelter for families, meals to the hungry via groceries or meal services, tutoring in a safe place for children after school, and rehabilitation services for those caught in addiction.

Please join us, your participation helps those in need this holiday season.

Bell Ringers Make a Difference: Funds raise are used to provide community services 365 days a year, starting with holiday food boxes and hot meals and gifts for low income families and seniors in our community.

About those Donations: All funds given locally stay in the community they were donated. The Salvation Army's overhead is very low - for every $1 donated, 83 cents goes straight back to the community. You can really make a difference in your community by volunteering.
