Last year, 8,125 individuals in Alameda County received hot Thanksgiving and Christmas meals from The Salvation Army. Our holiday programs made Christmas merrier for thousands of needy families by distributing 6,200 toys, gift cards and 1,600 food boxes to struggling children and families. As we prepare for the holidays, we turn to you, our faithful and generous community, asking for help in meeting the needs of our neighbors.
We primarily need volunteers to help ring bells, which is the foundation that fuels all of the programs we offer. Bell ringing provides nights in our shelter for families, meals to the hungry through groceries or meal services and rehabilitation services. Please join us, your participation helps those in need this holiday season.
Kettle Worker/Bell Ringer- Volunteers raise funds to be used to provide services 365 days a year. Dates:November 18th - December 24th Days:Monday thru Saturday Time:Varies
