Earth Day is just around the corner!
Explore Ecology is looking for volunteers to help staff our booth at the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival. Duties include:Interacting with visitors to our tables and providing information about our organization * Taking part in hands-on art and environmental education activities with visitors * Representing Explore Ecology in a professional manner.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about sustainability and enjoy helping children make Art From Scrap projects.

Description
Explore Ecology is an environmental education and arts nonprofit located in Santa Barbara, California. We work with over 30,000 children a year, inspiring them to engage with the natural world, think critically, and experience the value of environmental stewardship. Explore Ecology programs include the Art From Scrap Creative ReUse Store and Gallery, Environmental Education, Watershed Resource Center, and School Gardens.
The mission of Explore Ecology is to promote a greater understanding of the connections between people and their environment and to encourage creative thinking through hands-on environmental education and artistic expression. We empower our community to protect and preserve the environment through environmental education and creative exploration.
