Friday mornings from mid-August to the end of May are Writer's Workshop days in Second Grade. Young children get excited about creating books about their lives and their imaginations. Volunteers are needed to assist in a public school classroom. Assistants will help children move their ideas forward into stories, edit and help publish their writings, and will help put together the books that children create. 9:00-10:30 a.m. every Friday until May. Please consider only if you can make this an ongoing Friday morning commitment for at least 4 months of this school year--the kids get attached :-)
