Peak Potential is looking for volunteers to help children with physical disabilities learn how to rock climb. Yes, rock climb. Over the years Peak Potential has helped hundreds of children experience the joys, challenges, and inherent rewards of conquering the rock wall. We have recently launched our program at a new facility and we're looking for new volunteers to help us serve even more children. Volunteers will work directly with our participants as they scale our indoor rock walls.
Our sessions run once every other week on Wednesday evening. Come on out and join us!

About Peak Potential, Inc
Location:
c/o NJ Rock Gym, 373D Route 46W, Fairfield, NJ 07004, US
Mission Statement
Neurological, muscular, and developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and myelodysplasia affect thousands of children each year. Emphasis too often has fallen on the perceived limitations caused by these conditions. Because of these misperceptions, many activities in wonderful settings have traditionally been inaccessible to so many children. We have established Peak Potential in an effort to expand the variety of experiences available to children with physical challenges.
Description
Peak Potential, Inc. is a registered, 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Fairfield, NJ. The organization was founded in 2000 by pediatric physiatrist and avid rock climber Dr. JenFu Cheng as a grassroots effort to bring the exciting sport of rock climbing to children whom may never have had the opportunity to experience it otherwise.
Staffed by both climbers and non-climbers from the local community, Peak Potential runs structured climbing programs for children with physical disabilities and conducts 100 sessions per year in a private room generously provided by the NJ Rock Gym.
Through generous donations and the dedication of both its executive board and its members, our programs remains free and open to any child who has a physical disability and would like to try a sport where a condition does not exclude participation.
