The Lord & Schryver Conservancy gardeners meet Thursday mornings at Deepwood Museum & Gardens. We work almost year round, weather dependent, and maintain the historic gardens designed by Lord & Schryver inside of the fences. The Conservancy's curator, Lindsey Kerr, heads the group. We meet for a three hour block, with a coffee break in the middle. We're a hardy group of volunteers, like a family, but we are thrilled to welcome new members. Working with us is a great way to make new friends and connect to the Salem community. As long as you don't mind getting dirty and can take direction, we are happy to have you join us and we will teach you everything you need to know.

We are in need of capable people who are willing to roll up their sleeves! We are a volunteer run organization with opportunities both indoors and out. We aren't all work--there is often coffee and baked goods involved and lots of good humor and laughter.
