Many senior citizens in the Lithonia and Stone Mountain areas, and elsewhere in DeKalb Co., need caring volunteers to drive them to medical appointments. I CARE Volunteer Drivers use their own vehicles and set their own schedules. Whether you can drive once a week or once every month or two, you are needed and appreciated by the seniors! Our volunteer needs are during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Volunteers have liability protection (details available - visit icareseniors.org)

To serve senior citizens of DeKalb County, GA in need of free transportation to medical appointments. I CARE drivers provide respectful, caring companionship, thereby enhancing and promoting the quality of life, independence, and dignity of those served.
Description
I CARE is an interfaith collective effort which coordinates volunteer drivers with care receivers. We serve DeKalb County, GA residents 55 years and older who, for financial and/or medical reasons, have no other means of transportation to medical appointments. Our clients must be ambulatory.
