Harvest Hope Food Bank 35 Years of Service

We are in need of caring, compassionate volunteers to help us to serve hungry people in South Carolina. An average of over 300 families a day are served through our two Emergency Food Pantries in the Midlands.

Our intake counselor volunteers work directly with our clients so they must be extremely compassionate. These volunteers speak one on one with clients coming in to get help, gather their personal information and then enter them into our client database. We are looking for adults that have a background or training in social services, counseling, education, or working with at-risk individuals. Moderate computer skills are a must. Time commitment: one shift a week at our Cayce Emergency Food Pantry (plus training)
