Get up, get out, and come prepare a group of girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. In between the high fives and piggyback rides, these girls will look up to you as a model of what it means to live confidently. You’ve got it. Help them get it too.
Girls on the Run relies on volunteers to help us coach our programs. Coaches work directly with 3rd-5th graders or 6th-8th graders, teaching them healthy habits and training them for the big 5K race! Each team consists of 2-3 coaches and 8-21 girls. Teams meet for 90 minutes twice a week for 10 weeks. Most teams meet around 3:00pm-4:30pm. The Spring 2018 season starts the week of March 5th and ends the week of May 14th.
