Volunteer for South Sound Estuary Association as an Estuarium docent/educator. The Estuarium is a a marine life discovery center, highlighting Puget Sound: it's habitat, inhabitants, challenges, and restoration efforts. The Estuarium is an exciting new educational opportunity for residents and visitors, young and old, offering three salt water aquariums with marine creatures that live in the south Puget Sound, interpretive exhibits, interactive activities and mid week group education for school age children.

Docents greet visitors to the Estuarium and provide information /answer questions about the marine life in the aquariums.

Volunteer educators provide support to staff providing marine focused curriculum to school and other groups that visit the Estuarium.
