Come volunteer with us on the weekend and show off your knowledge about the animals in our tanks! Don’t have any experience with estuary animals? No problem! We provide on-the-job training and you will be an expert in no time. Volunteering during Estuarium open hours is not only fun, but it’s an excellent way to find out all that the Estuarium has to offer.
The Estuarium features an amazing diversity of live animals from intertidal and subtidal environments in South Puget Sound- sea stars, crabs, shrimp, anemones, sea cucumbers, chitons, fish, and much more. Learn to identify animals, feed them, and help our visitors discover what lives in Puget Sound.
We also offer programs, activities, and projects for those with varied talents- feel free to contact us to work out the best partnership!
