Our purpose is to locate homeless veterans living on the streets of South Brevard and provide them with information, hygiene kits, food, and other supplies. Over time we build relationships with the Veterans, which helps us gain their trust, and ultimately, get them out of the woods. Mission Statement: "To Eliminate Homelessness Among Veterans In Central Florida".

Interested volunteers need to arrive at 6AM sharp! We will briefly go over best practices procedures for approaching homeless individuals before heading out by vehicle. Volunteers will be provided Care Kits to distribute to the veterans they encounter during the event, as well as forms to be used to collect client veteran status and contact information. Forms will need to be returned to NVHS Staff at 12pm.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for this event, and don't forget to wear sunblock. If you are a veteran please wear a hat for your Branch.
