About Food Rescue
Location:
14938 Redcliff Drive, Noblesville, IN 46062, US
Mission Statement
We rescue food that otherwise would have been discarded from food establishments and give it to those in need through food pantries and many other organizations that provide services to people in need in our country. This food is unable to be sold for profit due to the business models of the food establishments, but it is perfectly good to eat, most times baked fresh that very morning.
Description
Food Rescue seeks to bring together restaurants, food pantries, and citizen volunteers to feed people in need.
Our goal is to find 2 million dollars worth of retail food and 500 new volunteers each year, for 5 years. Our
volunteers donate approximately 90 minutes of their time, one day each month. They rescue food that otherwise would have been discarded, and give it to those in need.
