A nonprofit in Ypsilanti that delivers meals to homebound individuals, who are unable to prepare or obtain meals for themselves, is in need of volunteer Client Assessors. Assessors will meet with each homebound client in person.
You will be provided with the following information:
- A welcome packet containing information about the program for each client
- Relevant contact information and food safety information, including meal reheating directions
- Demographic, health and nutritional information on each client via a risk assessment questionaire that will be used to develop a service plan for the client
Recommended Qualifications: BA, BS preferred (Health Science, Nursing, Social Work, Medical Field, Nutrition, Criminal Justice, Gerontology or Social Services). No license is required, but previous work in the field is helpful.
