Friends of Willow is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to placing abandoned, abused, or neglected domestic rabbits into permanent, safe & loving homes. In order to do this, we need families to step forward to serve as foster homes while we work on getting the rabbits adopted.

What will you need to have or do?
>>a love of rabbits
>>space in your home to keep the rabbits inside & allow them free range time during the day or evening
>>provide pellets, fresh fruits & vegetables, hay & water based on our guidelines
>>socialize & love the rabbit that is in your home
>>follow any and all instructions we give you in taking care of the rabbit
>>a min 6 month requirement per rabbit
>>contact your foster coordinator with any changes in the rabbit's condition
>>provide regular updates & photos on the rabbit's personality & health, as needed
>>be available to transport the rabbit to the vet if a medical need should arise
>>be allowed to say yes or no when contacted to foster
>>have the right of first refusal to adopt the rabbit that you're fostering

We will provide you:
>>all the education you need in order to care for rabbits properly
>>medical care as appropriate, including spay or neuter
>>set you up with a cage/pen, bag of food & bale of hay to get you started
>>all the support you need to care for the rabbit
>>work tirelessly to find the rabbit a home before your 6 months is finished (finding adopters in this 6 month window is not guaranteed)

We take in domestic rabbits & require that the primary location of the rabbit be inside. You will be expected to keep the rabbit indoors unless otherwise approved for supervised outdoor adventures.

You may contact us for more information by sending an email to info@friendsofwillow.org.
