Our meal program receive bread donations every Sunday night from the Panera Bread location in Northridge (Corbin and Nordhoff). We are in need of someone to pick up the donations in the evening and then bring the bag or two of bread to the Adult Daycare Center the following morining to be distributed to our homebound low income seniors. Panera closes at 8pm on Sundays and the donations need to be picked up between 8pm and 9pm, and then brought in to the Adult Daycare and Homebound Meal location (17400 Victory in Van Nuys, Between White Oak and Louise Ave.) between 7:30am and 10:30am.
We only need someone two Sunday's a month to alternate with our other volunteer.
The seniors of this program look forward to these bread and pastry donations.

Please contact this posting if you are interested. You do not have to pick up the bread every week, you would do once or twice a month. You're welcome to split the pick up with a friend and each of you have a Sunday a month. THANK YOU !!
