Volunteer Job Descriptions for the Evening:

Evening Dress is "Cocktail Attire." Please wear comfortable shoes as you might be on your feet for most of the evening! You will receive a volunteer badge when you check in.

Greeter: Volunteers will be greeting guests as they enter from the valet area and direct them up the escalators to the registration area. Volunteers will also greet guests entering from casino area and direct them to the registration area.

Registration/check in: Check in all attendees using our "quick - check" system. Greet all guests and assign bidder numbers and tables.

Quick check:Assist attendees by helping them fill out their quick check cards as they arrive.

Runner:Take registration forms to the computer room. We will give you a tour the night of so you know where to go.

Silent auction:Talk to bidders about auction items. Try to "sell" items and increase bid amounts. Identify key bidders and keep them updated on current bids.At the close of auction, pull all pens and bid sheets for processing. After purchase receipts are printed and sorted, volunteers will package all items for winning bidders and deliver items to the guests.

Balloon: Sell balloons to guests as they mingle before dinner Exchange balloon tickets for winning items at the balloon-redemption table.

Ballroom Spotter/Drive Spotter (in Ballroom): Identify bidders during the live auction inside the ballroom. Identify donors during the research and camp drive and take a lighted

Clean up:Help clean up and load any remaining decorations and auction items and then toast to a successful event! Clean up should only take a few minutes.Attire

We serve over 1,300 families in parishes in Southeast Louisiana and Gulf Coast Mississippi by providing healthcare clinic services, equipment assistance, flu shots, support groups and Summer Camp for kids ages 8-17.
