Every student needs someone who believes in them. Local public schools here in San Francisco need volunteers in just about every subject, including English, Math, Science, Art, P.E., and Music, to name a few.
Volunteers at the San Francisco public schools are trained and supported by the San Francisco Education Fund, the nonprofit in charge of training and placing volunteers in classrooms that need them most. We know you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity not because you need something to do, but because something needs to be done. All it takes is one hour a week to make a difference.
Our goal is to help every student in San Francisco succeed. Your decision to volunteer will make that goal a reality. Read to a student, help with math, mentor them so they can envision a bright future for themselves, and you’ll be part of something huge.
